Triangles 1st Annual Iron Chef Competition for Habitat for Humanity

The 1st Annual Iron Chef Competition at the University of Louisville was hosted on March 24th by Triangle Fraternity to raise money in a fun way for Habitat for Humanity. This competition was based on the popular television show Iron Chef America and it featured UofL’s sorority women as the star chefs. Six teams competed to see who had the best cooking skills on campus. Coming into the event the sorority teams prepared for the cooking challenge by compiling recipes that would compliment the three special ingredient choices that were given. Of those three special ingredients, one was unveiled as the ingredient of the night only seconds before the clock started. Though it was a guessing game as to what the special ingredient would be, there were no hesitations on each team member’s role when the pineapples were revealed as the food-of-choice.

Founders' Day 2009

The Louisville Chapter of Triangle Fraternity celebrated its 102'nd National Founders' Day on Saturday, April 11, 2009.  A big thanks to Br. John Riley (lou02) for his uplifting presentation of the goals and accomplishments that Triangle men should aspire to, proving that a life dedicated to serving not only Brothers, but to the community, has rewards of its own... and showed that it could be enjoyable, as well. At the celebration, many awards (new and old) were given out, which included the Harry B. O'Donnell III awards.  Also, the new active chapter officers were sworn in.
