Louisville Chapter of Triangle Fraternity

In order to recognize and to stimulate the characteristics essential in a Triangle Brother, three awards have been created in memory of Brother Harry B. O’Donnell III lou49. As a Brother in Triangle from the Louisville chapter, Harry represented and encouraged the qualities listed below while always helping to build and preserve the traditions of Triangle and particularly the Louisville Chapter. These awards not only honor the recipients but also pay tribute to Harry himself.

The Louisville chapter continues to rent a house
on Greek Row. We have called this same house home since 1971. Our usage
of the house changed dramatically effective December 31, 2005. Because
our house is not equipped with sprinklers, the University will no
longer allow people to live in the structure; however, we may continue
to use it as the base of operations for the fraternity.

Alumni Meetings

The Alumni organization holds monthly Alumni Meetings. Recently, meetings have been on campus in a conference room in the Miller Information Technology Center (i.e. the old Student Center). On January 7, 2006 the Louisville Chapter of Triangle Fraternity initiated 9 new brothers. The initiation class of 2006 was slightly different than previous years in that almost half of them were sophomores or older. This is thanks to the rushing efforts of brothers that were able to bring in friends from their classes. These veterans of UofL have become great additions to our chapter. Thanks to the efforts of Br. Jonathan Klapperich (Pledge Educator) and Matt Pulley (Rush Chair) we have brought in 9 incredible brothers into our fraternity.
